Anand Gupta Installed as President of Rotary Club of Bombay West

At a glittering ceremony held at Rotary Service Centre, Juhu, Rtn.Anand Gupta was installed as the 65^th President of Rotary Club of Bombay West, the second oldest and one the largest Clubs in RI District 3141, on Sunday, 1^st July, 2018 in presence of Chief Guest, Rtn.Shashi Sharma, District Governor for 2018-19.

Rtn.Anand Gupta in his acceptance speech, unveiled the plans he has made for the new Rotary Year which including launching Yoga Classes at Rotary Service Centre in association with The Yoga Institute, Santacruz East – the world’s oldest organized Yoga Centre, launch of a Knowledge Series – Layman & Housing Laws in association with Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association, a guidance cell for students wishing to avail Education Loans from Banks for higher education and Project Green – an initiative to plant trees on behalf of members on their birthdays and wedding anniversaries.  

Speaking on the occasion, DG Rtn.Shashi Sharma praised the Club for its range of community service in all focus areas of Rotary International.  He urged the members of the Club to support the new President in creating miracles during 2018-19 and help him take the Club to newer heights.
